Midori & Friends is delighted to share 2022-2023 annual Impact Report which showcases the extraordinary achievements and transformative outcomes Midori & Friends has accomplished throughout the school year. Over the past year, we have reached remarkable milestones, impacting the lives of 12,116 students and community members across 58 school and community sites.
Inequitable access to music education hinders the development of essential skills, limits opportunities, and perpetuates a cycle of disadvantage for marginalized populations. Arts education goes beyond the confines of traditional academic subjects; it fosters creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking skills that are indispensable in an increasingly complex world.
We remain vigilant in removing barriers to arts learning, working with artists and educators to respond to the unique needs of each school community. Together, with your continued support, we can continue to make a profound difference in the lives of countless young individuals, empowering them to become creative thinkers, compassionate citizens, and contributors to the betterment of society.
