A woodwinds instructor for Midori & Friends since 1998, saxophonist Sean Lyons has played with such jazz masters as George Coleman, Jon Faddis, Curtis Fuller, Al Foster, Billy Hart, and Alan Dawson. He has toured the Hawaiian Islands, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Alaska, Europe, and Japan, and spent four years in Seoul, Korea, where he performed live, recorded several CDs, and appeared on every television network in the country. Now based in New York City, Sean leads his own jazz ensembles. His most recent recording, Roar of Lyons (Posi-Tone Records) stayed in the Jazz Week National Radio Report for 33 weeks straight (3 weeks in the Top 50). Sean graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Berklee College of Music.
