November 8th, 2007 was a morning and evening of music in celebration of our 15th year anniversary. The day began with a morning concert performed by Midori and pianist Tom Sauer at P.S. 72. The festivities continued with an evening event at the historic Steinway Hall. Midori spoke to the specially invited guests, describing the organization's journey over the past 15 years: "Every day, there are multiple classes in multiple schools with hundreds of children and families singing, playing, and experiencing music. I am so proud to have played a part in bringing music back into our city's public school system." At the conclusion of Midori's remarks, guests were treated to an extraordinary performance by the young pianist, Peng Peng. The evening concluded with uplifting presentations by Board members Byron Gustafson, Dr. Geeta Sharma, and Nozomi Terao.
